Not only annoying but also distracting. It is visible in route construction, session builds, and also in driver mode. Is there a way to disable this seemingly xy co-ordination notification?

Not anywhere near my computer at the moment but do you have the Advanced Debbug setting on? If so try turning it off.
EDIT: Now that I am with my Trainz computer I can say that my suggestion above did not resolve the issue. I tried a few other things but all with the same result. It is a mystery to me.
