There used to be a nice Nvidia control panel to balance brightness, contrast, color, etc... All I see under Nvidia on the web is self-serving commentary about wonderful Nvidia. Is there a control panel or is that gone?

Right click on your screen background, and look for the nVidia Control Panel option. If you have Win 11, you may need to go 1 level deeper and open the "Show more options" menu to see the nVidia Control Panel option.

Click on the start icon and select all apps. Win11
i could send some screenshots as to how to get to it but i'd probably get banned because it'd include something about windows and not activating it

Ok - Right Click on windows background is where I found it. Looks the same as the "old-days". and it works! Lot's of good info there!
Just jumping to W-11 with no Windows For Dummies - Windows-11 book, means slow discovery and questions for people who have uncovered the secrets.
