"Failed to read package manifest" error

I have recently purchased TRS22, and when trying to download the Bairnsdale - Orbost route it reads,

"Package installation failed
Error: Failed to read package manifest
1 Errors, 0 warnings"

And whenever I click "Retry" it just closes the window and does absolutely nothing
Any way to fix this?

Check that your antivirus isn't stomping on the package files and killing them. Try excluding real-time scanning from your Trainz data folders and try again. This is recommended anyway due to not only this issue but also for performance.

Same problem but different package

I am having the same error with Fall Harvest Redux. There was an internet interruption during the download/install. I tried shutting down the anti-virus and firewall but still retry does nothing.

Back in my memory banks I recall having to delete some files with a similar problem but wouldn't begin to know which ones.

Any help would be great.
