The D&RGW's Policy on Drinking While On The Job

The D&RGW had a policy that the number of wheels your vehicle has that you drive to the bar determines how many drinks you can have. For example, if you ride a bicycle or a motorcycle, you can have two drinks. If you drive a motorcycle with a sidecar, you can have three drinks. If you drive an automobile, you can have four drinks. My question is: What if you drive a train to the station in town, get out the cab, and walk into the bar that's across the street from the depot? How many drinks can you drink then? If you drive a L-97 4-6-6-4, then would you be allowed 20 drinks?

Well if you get an articulated locomotive to the street in front of the bar, I think your already drinking to much.....

No, no, no. There's the station, then next to the station is the road, then across the road from the station is the bar.
