Errors with certain JR assets

Hello! I'm having a bit of trouble with these two traincars, the ERSX and Utah Belt 60ft 9in woodchip gons. They work fine as a train but the skins do not load and I cannot put product inside. I also have errors with some of my custom GP9 reskins I've made. They all share a common message upon opening the editing menu:
Screenshot-2022-08-12-182746.jpg

Does anyone know a simple way to fix this? It's really annoying and it means I can't change class lights, add product to the affected assets, change running numbers, etc.

The KUIDS for the assets that I am having trouble with are:

<kuid:506034:8952145> Utah Belt 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 70's dirty
<kuid:506034:735907> ERSX 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola
<kuid:950560:101227> ATSF GP9
<kuid:950560:101567> DTC GP9 Chopped Nose
<kuid:950560:101673> GN GP9 no dynamic brake

The Geeps use Wearsprada's GP9 model.

Its easier if you list the kuids of the assets you are having trouble with so we know the exact railcars and can look at them.

It's actually easier to list the JR Woodchip Hoppers that AREN'T Borked.

- Southern Pacific
- Montana Rail Link
- Burlington Northern

Where/what pack did these items come from? The reason I ask is so I can get the file off the site and check them. That error does not specifically point to anything and could be the asset, or it could even be dependencies, the only way to know is to pull it apart and try to find anything.

The <kuid:506034:8952145> Utah Belt 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 70's dirty came from the Utah Belt train pack, and the <kuid:506034:735907> ERSX 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola came from the Eagle River railroad, which was from the Eagle River rolling stock pack.

If you are able to, is there a way to fix my private assets? Obviously you can't pull a file from somewhere, however a solution is probably there.

All the packs that are not built in or also in a N3V content pack are doing this.

The current work around is to place one of the Woodchip hoppers, delete it and hit undo and then the hopper works fine.
If one creates a consist of the hoppers that were placed in game in the above method , the conist will show in game correctly without issue (at least in the same session, I haven't tried this trick in another session yet.)

I spent some time comparing the configuration files of the built in/N3V JR Woodchip cars to the ones from the JR website and nothing stood out.

I'm also having the same problem with the woodchip hoppers from the Eagle River rolling stock pack and the BNSF and Utah Belt train packs. They either show the wrong texture or the right one, but either way the textures are messed and show the error message when trying to load anything into them in the Surveyor. The only work around I have found is to place them, then undo and redo, which fixes them.
<kuid:506034:584394> BNSF 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 00's dirty
<kuid:506034:735907> ERSX 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola
<kuid:506034:8952145> Utah Belt 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 70's dirty

I am having a similar problem with these hoppers from the Legacy of the BN II rolling stock pack, but the main difference is that their textures don't appear messed up, but I can't load anything into them without deleting them and undoing it.
<kuid:506034:345751> BN 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car
<kuid:506034:345752> BN 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car weathered
<kuid:506034:345750> BN(GBRX) 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car
All the hoppers from NARM are having the same problem.

The top row from left to right is the ERSX, Utah Belt, and BNSF hoppers.

Continuing from the above post, I get these when opening up the window in surveyor where you would normally be able to load the hopper, change its skin, add a EOT, and so on:

I have the same error on all 52ft bulkhead tanks that I reported a long time ago (refer to the link below) and I did not receive any kind of help to solve the problem definitively from those directly involved; it would be enough to say it clearly, we don't give a damn about solving a small problem but only to churn out new models on a regular basis to meet everyone's requests (myself included) ...

That's because you never provided them with the information they need to fix it, to do that you need to open up the Trainz Launcher, go to settings and then go to the Dev tab and enable "Show script exception notifications".

And then in game you'll get a icon in the lower right icon of a stop sign with a white bug on it. What you do is click on that and it opens up a window showing you a bunch of errors and what you do with that is hold down shift and click on all of it until you have all of it selected, then you right click it and click on "copy" after which can you paste it here on a support ticket to JR.

Example:

The <kuid:506034:8952145> Utah Belt 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 70's dirty came from the Utah Belt train pack, and the <kuid:506034:735907> ERSX 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola came from the Eagle River railroad, which was from the Eagle River rolling stock pack.

If you are able to, is there a way to fix my private assets? Obviously you can't pull a file from somewhere, however a solution is probably there.

The problem is when I go to find <kuid:506034:8952145> I get <kuid2:506034:8952145:1> Utah Belt 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola 70's dirty and it works in the game (TRS19 and TRS22) with no problems.

When I go find <kuid:506034:735907> it comes out as <kuid2:506034:735907:1> ERSX 60Ft.9In. woodchip gondola

Now I didn't directly create these items, I don't know precisely where they are all located, but it does appear they were fixed at some point. if you know of a specific pack where something is go try and download it again it is probably corrected by now. Can't really help you with personal assets.

This is precisely correct. not even a kuid so that we know we are talking about the same asset. likely that your problem was also taken care of with some update.

This ER_Timeout seems to be caused by having too many numbers in the number range in the config. If you see a timeout, it means something is taking too long, that is a good place to look esp on older assets where the author may not have known or noticed that 23000 available numbers is too many.

In the attached image, the 52ft bulkhead wagons with final kuid :2 modified (if I'm not wrong) by yukonzoom; below is the long list of script errors of each (at the suggestion of BBarnes005), which are more or less identical.

Those errors indicate something is wrong with a queue or product.

I tried to locate the items specified but can only come up with :1 versions from the DLS and I was able to use any of those without a single problem in TRS22. Where did the :2 items come from?

Alright redownladed the problematic hoppers and they all work now, however I am getting this error for three of the Legacy of the BN hoppers, although overwise they work fine:

<kuid2:506034:345752:1> BN 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car weathered
<kuid2:506034:345751:1> BN 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car
<kuid2:506034:345750:1> BN(GBRX) 60Ft.9In. Woodchip Car
Also for some reason the non-weather one is showing a GRBX skin rather than a BN.

We are fixed those a couple month ago and uploaded packs on web site.
No errors in TRS19.
I can't check it in TRS22, don't have it.

Okay, I will redownload the affected cars and see what happens, however I am still looking for a solution to my assets with these problems. The assets that have this issue (besides the woodchip cars) are your GP9's, low and high hood.

Are they personal reskin attempts of his GP9s? They may not work correctly and thats not something that we are expected to support, anything used outside of what we provide is at your own risk. If they worked fine on the asset that was provided initially, that is what we are expected to support.
