AHHH! Game keeps defaulting to wrong track

Ok, this is getting EXTREMELY annoying. I am working with a track for my route and every time I move out of the track menu to say building, come back and pick my track again from the drop list it says I have the correct track, but when I lay it down I am instead getting two rails. I click my track in the track list (right hand side) over and over and I only get the two tracks, the only way I can get the track I want to is pick it from the route. This is incredibly annoying.

I have run base rebuilds and such but it persists.

You will see in the picture the track I am using (yellow/red arrow) (a TRS19 track) and the track I get (blue/red) even though it says the track is the one I want. The left hand side picklist is empty (Ctl-shft-f) so that is not the problem. Any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

I deleted both TRS19 rail only tracks and now it isn't doing it, I have no idea why that asset was ruining everything, still like to know.
