TRS22 Plus here. Here's the scenario:
I'm working on a route in Edit Route. After laying down roads, I want to use the car camera to drive on the road to get closeup to any problems. I also like doing this on more completed routes just to take a drive through the countryside without worrying about what the trains are up to, or to see scenery far from the tracks.
In Surveyor Classic, you just select the car camera, unpause, wait for a car to come along and left click on the car and you go for a ride. Sometimes it's easier to find the car first, pause, left click on car, then unpause.
But if you try this in Surveyor 2, left clicking on the car activates the roaming camera (which you don't want) and then the software tries to do something depending on which of the six tools is active - not what you want either.
What am I doing wrong?
