when i download a kuid, it takes ages to download why?

so i have bought TRS2022 and went straight to download something from the DLS. but for some reason it takes HOURS just to download its file. Why?
this is slower than when i download stuff from TANE's DLS

Outside of your FCT suddenly expiring, ensure that your antivirus program isn't making things difficult by scanning files constantly. Exclude TRS22.exe and your content folder from your antivirus and see how it goes. I use the PLUS version and there is no difference from what I can see from previous versions.

Have you entered your username and password into the settings/mytrainz page? It maybe TRS22 is not linked to your account yet.

From personal experience I would add VPNs to the list of possible causes. If you have a VPN installed and operating, I would disable it for CM downloads.

Thank you, guys for the heads up on VPNs. I never thought of those because I've only used them for work, but they've since become ubiquitous.
