Is this where I can get the SP Cab-Forward?

Dear Trainz Discussion Forum,

I am pretty sure for earlier versions of Trainz, there have been many popular locomotives that we all love, but as the years passed and the games have become more advanced, the sites these locomotives have come from have either been deleted for varying reasons and can only be re-viewable using the Wayback Machine. According to this video titled "Strange Trainz" by AmtrakGuy365 on YouTube (Vid Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gl-URiF3OwA) He features many trains that he considers "Strange". One such Strange Train featured in this video is the SP AC-12 Cab-Forward, and in my opinion, it is an "Old" and "Illusive" Trainz Locomotive. Why? It's been around for how long now? I have no clue, and why I call it illusive, is that I don't know or have found any site featuring the locomotive, that isn't possibly malware.

Generously, AmtrakGuy listed a great majority of the content he used, and links to where you could find them. Here's the link for the Cab-Forward:

My question is, is this a safe place to download from?

the archive should be fine , whether the loco will work in TANE is another issue.

Hmmm... According to the description of the video, AG365's version of Trainz he used for the video is Trainz 2019... TANE was created in 2015... And if AG365 was able to use the Cab-Forward in Trainz 2019... Maybe it could work for TANE?

Best way to find out is to download and find out.. But there are a lot of TRS19 exclusive features over TANE

Downloaded and installed in 2019, it's all old stuff with a max build of 2.9. , useful from Trainz 2009 to 2022.
Only links to:
Southern Pacific 4-8-8-2 "Cab Forward" and tender
Southern Pacific 4-8-4 "Daylight" and tender
Basic Bulk Loader and Unloader

The wayback link provided is indeed safe to download from as its an archive of the site the cab forward was originally released on.

Brian Snook gave me permission to modify his Cab Forward, though not to upload it to the Download Station. I made a few modifications, including adding an animated locomotive crew.

Here it is in action on the "Shortz & Kerl" traction layout (full screen / 1080p):

This version certainly works in TRS19 so I'm assuming it will also work in TRS22.

It can be downloaded here:

One thing that does frustrate me, and it's seems to be even worse in TRS22, is the noise of the safety valves blowing off. I do have an amended file that will stop this. Download here:

I remember this Train back to Trainz 12, i am not sure but I think again that Phil had a pattern to make it work then with some changes. Thank you for reminding me this model also for the info of how to get it!
