Moving Local Folder Help

I could use a little advice and alot of help
I moved my local folder to another drive following the instructions from C drive to D.
After re-starting, Trainz asked for my graphic settings and user info.
Trainz then started properly, but it only found the built-in content.
I triple checked the instructions and can't find out what I did wrong.
Any ideas would surely be appreciated...thanks in advance.
Oh, and when it didn't work, I reapplied the orginal "C" drive address.
Again it asked for graphic and user settings, but now it doesn't find my content
even reverting back to the original setting.
I'm stumped

I've just had similar, turned out it was the Windows Firewall blocking internet access, rather oddly it was only on the fifth attempt of inputting my login details and pointing at the local folder that the firewall popped up an allow or block message. Normally they appear pretty much instantly when you have moved something.
May not of course be the same problem but worth checking.
