Finding Small Trees for Tree Grate?

I am looking for small trees to place in the tree grate kuid:<106916:10042>

I want to place this grate in my sidewalks, but cannot find a tree suitable for it. I've searched but find it difficult to find the needle in a haystack. Or should I say the single tree in the forest? There are thousands of trees. I am fairly sure someone has used this grate and knows what tree looks good. Thanks in advance.

RMM made a bunch of small trees. His Yasan trees are suitable for instance with some about 8m in size. He also has some very small Yablonya (apple) that may work as well. Check out his Buk (beech) trees as well. I've seen some small ones in there too.

I know what you mean though. There are so many trees to choose from but so many are way too big.

His st_rmm_yablonya4_1240_5m which is what I use, are roughly 5m.

Clam1952 made a line of "shrubs" that are actually small trees, worth looking at.

Have look at EMT Trees by euromodeller.
They are all speedtrees.
Speedtrees can appear in one of several sizes, place one down, place another of the same next to it and keep trying til you get the size you want.
