UP Big Boy coming west this summer!

I am overjoyed to see that the Big Boy will be coming west this summer and will be passing right through my home turf of southern Idaho. I have been waiting for this a long time. There are innumerable spots between Portland and Boise to see the main line, so I predict some hazards along the freeway with gawkers pulling over! I am halfway tempted to drive to Portland and chase it all the way.

OK UP says "postponed". Knowing how UP works I say "postponed indefinitely" and that means it won't happen this year.

Yeah, I wondered how they were going to handle that main haul route with all the traffic. Bummer! :'(
