Is There a Way to?

Would there be any way to create a two-track portal or would it be too confusing to make it work properly?

I have placed two basic portals/short portals inside a two track tunnel many times at the end of a route to simulate traffic beyond that which I have built. I lower the tunnel 0.1-0.2 units below what would be normal track level, connect the tracks to the portals not the tunnel and align the portals with the tunnel track providing the impression that the traffic is disappearing into or emerging from the tunnel. Each portal is treated as a separate portal enabling you to turn back traffic, generate new traffic and so forth.

I have also laid portals on top of each other with the 2nd and 3rd portals connected via an invisible switch and invisible track all appropriately aligned. The invisible track in turn makes the portal track invisible. I'm not sure that helps or answers your question but if not perhaps you can provide a little more details of what you are trying to achieve. Peter
