TRS22/Mac EA 116493 -> 116963 error

Hi.
I'm getting the following error while updating from 116493 to 116963 (Mac):

"Unable to copy installation data to target disk (path in use).

Any help is appreciated.
 
This issue was reported yesterday - we're investigating. Can you confirm this was after updating MacOS to 12.3?
 
Tony, my Mac install of 116493 to 11693 failed under Mac OS 11.6 (Big Sur).

Update file downloads (6.7mb) and installer then dies right away... Install never occurs, barely starts.

Edit: I'm wondering if the updater app (I don't see a separate app like there is in Windows) has system permissions to run? I don't get a request (yes or no) from Mac OS.

We're so far unable to reproduce any patching issues from 116493. The patch is a large one, so perhaps check your patch folder location and make sure that there's plenty of disk space.
The message "Unable to copy installation data to target disk (path in use)." indicates that perhaps there was a previous patch failure that left data behind. e.g. there may be a left over patch.bin file.

Could anyone having this issue please provide a bug report with details of the path to their TRS22 Install folder, their hardware and OSX version.
