Amtrak unveils new Locomotive Paint Scheme to recognize Railroad Safety

That locomotive is ugly and does nothing for OLS which had a nice paint scheme and logo. This pales in comparison.

I don't care to speak ill of way it is painted, I guess you could say it is not quite my Cup of Tea. I like the Locomotive Model, just not in this Livery Scheme......

I'll quietly leave the room now........

As I type this, the locomotive that's the topic of this thread is stopped at Ashland, Virginia Amtrak station with a Southbound Northeast Regional. Expect it to be in one of Virtual Railfan's Grab Bag videos in the near future.

I may or may not like the paint scheme (I think it looks good), but "See tracks? Think train!" is the best they could come up with? I can come up with better short catchphrases right now off the top of my head:

Operation Lifesaver
Stop, Look and Listen
Crossing bells or hell's bells
Look up or get picked up (with image of ambulance)
Open eyes save lives
Phone on dash, avoid a crash!
Dont crash your plane in front of a train (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/01/10/plane-hit-by-train-california/9155052002/)
