Terminus Buildings Sutable For UK MR's

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of station buildings suitable for the above, typically a large town or small city terminus. There are plenty of through station types to choose from, the S&C payware route has several. The only one I've found are Bath Green Park but as with the Tafweb stations (which also include track too wide for UK spacing) is modelled as a complete unit rather than individual components. Many of the old Peco plans call for this type of station structure as do layouts like Buckingham Great Central.

Would be nice if one of our intrepid 3D modellers could create something to fill the gap, compatible with TANE onwards.

With my 'O' Gauge version of 'Minories' Vern I used 'AJS Roof, Barrel 43,5m' <kuid2:122285:3533:2>, but everything else had to be pieced together from all manner of bits, - some of which weren't really meant to fit together.
I used 'Station Roof - Glasgow Queen Street 2010' <kuid2:69518:28201:7> on my 1925 MRN 'O' Gauge layout, but again I had to construct the platforms and everything under the roof from all kinds of bits and pieces. Unfortunately there just isn't really anything out there in the way of good and reasonably complete Uk terminus station with track set at 3.5 spacing.

You feel my pain too, Kotanga! Basically what we need are a set of standalone end (concourse) buildings and the typical 3 or 4 storey longer buildings that run along the edge of the outer platforms.
As you have done, about the only solution at present is to try and find a suitable older office block and use that.

Here is a link to Buckingham Great Central and some of the pictures show the kind of building I'm referencing... https://highlandmiscellany.com/2016/01/10/buckingham-central/
Other examples would be stations like Blackpool North (before rebuilding), typically anywhere with 4 to 6 platforms and a substantial structure.

Kit of station parts by victorian, recently rescued from the repair list and now on the DLS may be useful?

Interesting; - thanks very much Malc, - I'll have to take a look at those.

Buckingham is an absolute model railway classic. Thanks for posting the link Vern.

Yes thanks Malc, I'll take a look at those tomorrow.
And I agree re Buckingham - I've had the (late) Peter Denny's book in my collection since the 1970's. Maybe one day I will give it the Trainz MR treatment!

Now that collection of bits by victorian look very useful.:Y:

Maybe you can use some of these bits too..

It's a bit of a puzzle to put them together to make the prototype but the bits are very useful.

Cheers,
Graham

None of the above quite fitted the location in the end, but Dom Sarto's Atherstone fitted the bill quite nicely...

Obviously this is very WIP
Very early WIP and several weeks of work still remaining but it gives an idea of the typical CJ Freezer station style that many of these old Peco plans call for.

To add to the discussion - many moons ago I made some "modern" station buildings based on the 1964 BR modernization plan (modular construction) also a model of Brandon (Suffolk but actually in Norfolk) and a carstone version, not authenticate. There was also my model of Clapham Junction - not the one in London. There may have been others - I'll check.

All three versions of your Clapham station building have seen use on my layouts Ray and they're very much favourites of mine. Back when I was a teenager I made a 4mm scale card model of the Clapham (Little North Western) station building from drawings in a model railway magazine (I forget which one) and it didn't turn out too bad all things considered.
I haven't made use of your Brandon station building yet, but I have used various ones of the smaller carstone station buildings you made based on Brandon.

Graham - it seems that around 4000 others agree! Successl

Annie - no doubt the same RM that I used. I'll check to see which, but it was very old.
