Have just opened a WIP - Start Trainz - Select Route - View Sessions - select Default - select Edit Session.


The above scenic asset was originally a sandy orange brown, as the name would suggest. All areas treated with this asset are now showing up as a slightly grey snowy white - also any new application

Any ideas - anyone - please?

The texture is seasonal, and what you're seeing is the winter texture, because it's now December and winter (as far as Trainz is concerned) in the UK. Edit Environment - Location to set a date between March and November to show the normal, non winter, texture. If you'd prefer it not to go to a snow texture in winter then as far as I'm aware the only option is to use a different texture- either a non-seasonal one, or one with different seasonal behaviour.

You could edit the config of the texture to get rid of the seasonal behaviour but your route will behave differently for other users if you ever decide to share it.

Thank you R3. Selecting a suitable landscape texture is bad enough - remembering the seasonal bit is an added dimension.
