My thoughts exactly. Whenever there's something new, it always seems like as soon as I go to sleep, the company decides, "Hey, let's just, all of a sudden, just announced this super hyped up thing that people have been talking about for the longest time. Let's just do it right now."

I dunno. Hopefully this will be a good entry. (Probably will be.)

Same here... Like most important things, they always occur when I'm sleeping, or can't be available to witness them.

Brisbane right now is 11:35 AM Wednesday as I type this. Knowing this, it's helpful when gauging what happens down under on their east coast. Sydney is also in the same time, roughly, because they have daylight savings time, but Brisbane does not.

    Always.
Also N3V did say in their test stream on the YouTube channel that they'll do a live feed on 1 DEC (I think their time). Might be worth keeping an eye on their official channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC41...FEB6TuHin9ONsQ

We're getting things ready - it's not like we just press a button and hey, everything happens. We're also waiting for SRKing783 to go to bed. (Sorry, a bit of Australian humour there)

Probably a few more hours until we tick all the boxes.

Hmm... very interesting. Will have to keep an eye out for that. Also, there's this site. Is it legit? (EDIT: Yep.)

For those wondering, there's also a site with the Preview Pass for Trainz Plus buyers... TRS22's built-in content looks quite interesting...

No problem. Very interesting, if I do say so myself.

Are we still waiting for SRKing783 to go to bed (because its already 10:30pm on the US East Coast so it is getting late)?

Thanks for the link - it's actually a little out of date so we'd added a password to it for now while it gets updated.
The new link will also be slightly different when it's announced. (soon - had a wee technical set back with some product permissions we're working through)

I hope that renewing a Gold sub last September qualifies for the keep TRS22 forever thing

Nothing on their channel yet. It's too late for me. I'm off to bed.

    Alright! Let’s see the checklist:

Announced while I was sleeping? Check

Looks to be absolutely incredible? Check

A bit pricey, but I’m probably gonna preorder because I have a gift card or two lying around that hasn’t been used at all? Check

Has a really nice British route included? (Big fan of British railways here - not much of an American guy… even though I live in New England) Check

I didn’t really have a checklist, and was just making it up on the fly? Check

Would ya look at that, it meets everything on the checklist!

Anyways, enough joking around - TRS22 looks to be an incredible new game. I hope to see Trainz still running strong 20 years from now, and hopefully longer.

From my perspective, I'm not sure that a subscription is that good...
The difference between the outright purchase and the + subscription is that I can have Surveyor 2, plus the advance DLC.
At the end of the subscription, I'll lose the Surveyor 2 and the DLC early access...

I don't need the FCT (lifetime subscription here)
I don't need access to older Trainz versions (see header info!)

In year 2, I'll be financially ahead...

If I manage to hold off until next year's "Black Friday" will there be a sale price?
anyone able to change my mind?

    Default Price?

Is the price in US dollars or Australian dollars?
