Anyone have an opinion as to whether this laptop would run the latest Trainz version very well?

Same video card so same basic performance. Personally I prefer ASUS to ACER.

For comparison

The RTX 3060 scores 12,361

One the desktop side Dell has an RTX 3060 ti which scores 19,667 price is $1,849.99 this evening but note the difference in performance. You'll need a monitor but it is far more expandable than a laptop.

One thing to bear in mind is will it run Windows 11.

Win 11 has specific CPU requirements and specific hardware requirements for booting. None of my current machines meet them by the way. However you can expect the latest and greatest GPU drivers will be written for Win 11 so I suggest you buy something that will run it. It specifically needs a [FONT=&quot]TPM 2.0 chip and
[FONT=&quot]UEFI, Secure Boot capable besides other things.

From me the higher routes use too much GPU with all the new thing they have added in TRS19 lighting, clutter ect. was causing my Acer Predator Helios 300 to overheat when running on Bellaraine route at 30mph not sure if its upgrade the 500 with a RTX2070 in it would be any better but I just brought the computer below.
