Most suitable/affordable gaming laptop for TRS19?

I'm currently looking for a gaming laptop as the title says as I could possibly be getting a job soon so I want to take the chance to upgrade to TRS19, Any suggestions/recommendations for laptops? I don't want to spend over 2000 Australian dollars though so I want something reasonable and with lots of disk space (Though if that's not really an option I can sort that out with a workaround)

Any pointers would be much appreciated. :)

Dell G15 with RTX 3060 would work at just under $2,000 aus with a 15 inch display.

play around with https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php Normally a score of 10,000 is reasonable so look at 3050 and 3050ti they might be better on the price performance side but the 3060 has 16 gigs of main memory and 6 gigs of video memory which would tempt me.

I'll look into the Dell G15 since someone on twitter also suggested a similar model., I don't really trust the acer brand due to some bad history with faulty/bad quality control.

no mention of a disc tray since I own both TS12 and TANE on disc so I'd have to go digital.
Get an external DVD drive. DVD drives built in are a thing of the past.
Whichever one you buy, make sure you remove ALL of the preinstalled bloatware.

The following was the first result from a quick google search: https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/del...rationid=09b19980-c47d-418f-b80b-6b0d58a71c73 It looks like it has everything I want though no mention of a disc tray since I own both TS12 and TANE on disc so I'd have to go digital.

3050 ti is 9,693, 3060 is 12,316 3D score.

The difficulty is knowing how much 3D score you need. Normally 10,000 is accepted as being a good basic number. Mine scores 16,000 which works fine but the sliders are not set too high. However I can run TS19 on integrated graphics but you have to choose the content very carefully and set the sliders way down.

If you have too much processing power no big deal, if you have slightly less than you'd like there is no quick fix.

I've got an Asus TUF with RTX2060 and AMD Ryzen 9 which runs TS19 and Blender pretty well. I certainly recommend looking at options with AMD CPUs, as you will often be able to get more bang for your buck compared to Intel.

So something like this one? https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/gam...top/spd/g-series-15-5515-laptop/smhng551507au

There's been a change of plans as I've found that being paid $90 for whatever job I get would just take too long for a laptop of $2000.
I spoke with my mother and she said $1200 or so is more reasonable, is any there suitable laptops that would fit that price range?
