This, along with a similar park being built in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, which is on CSX's Western & Atlantic Subdivision and has a passing siding that's frequently used, and the old freight depot in Dalton, Georgia that's now Dalton's visitor center, is making northeastern Georgia a place to railfan. Also note that when all three railfan platforms are built, they are only 15-20 minute drive apart from each other, so you can hit all three in a day. There is also a small railfan platform in Ringgold, Georgia, which is also on CSX's W&A Subdivision.
