TRS19 SP4 Release Candidate 114400

Started with a fresh install. It was quick with no issues.
Installed a copy of my database which contained all my work. There were no issues that could not be fixed in several minutes. All my routes and sessions were error free. I installed this build on an SSD drive so it Trainz lots very fast and the route caching on the first time loading is very quick.
Ran six of my routes for about five hours; testing things in surveyor and driver.
I use lots of portal along with the Central Portal Control. They all seemed to work as expected.
Frame rates are good.

From my perspective this build is a keeper. Thanks to the QA team for helping me along on the journey in previous builds.

I am running a session and suddenly after about 15 minutes it stops and a screen pops up which reads "Qualified Hostler Switching Experience Make 10 switching moves" I hit the check mark and things return to normal. About 15 minutes later the same thing happens only this time it says "Make 100 switching moves"

How do I get rid of this pop up message?

Interesting Central Portal Control issue.

If I start my route by "Edit the session" and then going to the drive route command within the edit session Central Portal Control behaves differently based upon whether I use full sync or half sync.

If I am using half sync the train begins to emerge from the portal and then waits for about 30 seconds and then proceeds. If I am using full sync the train emerges from the portal without pausing and just goes on its merry way.

If however I go directly to "Drive Route" the train forms in the portal but never exits.

May be a bug.

I am on Build 113642. Should I wait for the final beta or the final public release SP4 patch? Not sure how to proceed. I prefer patching through the launcher.

I can confirm a problem with "CPC:Emit Train" not working in the latest builds 114400 (PC) and 114207 (Mac).
This can easily be checked by making a test route/session with two pieces of track:
- Track 1 with UnPortal-2 portals A (emitting every minute) and B (consuming), with consists hitting a Trigger0 at the halfway mark.
- Track 2 with UnPortal-2 portals C (emitting under CPC control) and D (consuming).
with the session rules using a "Check Trackside" or "Trigger Check" to activate the "CPC:Emit Train" rule.

Curiously, the companion "CPC:Emit Train on Trigger" works fine.

Bug report submitted. (My guess: nothing to do with the builds per se, but a scripting issue in the builtin "CPC:Emit Train" rule...)

Not seeing an update for Mac 114207. "There's a "Release Candidate" build 114400 available for all our external beta testers."

Content Manager is going crazy! "Download Station" filter works as intended with a single subfilter, but when a second one or more are added, already installed assets are displayed in addition to those that are "Available for download":

The default to combine the filters is the and function. You did add the last filter, using the or function, to combine it with the 6 filter at the top. The resulting filter is locomotives from the DLS, which are not installed OR any rolling stock. To filter for locomotives or rolling stock use the 'train vehicle' filter.

Peter

I have always used the "OR" function with no issue. With "AND" CM doesn't display any result as an asset can't belong to more than one single category. "Locomotives" and "Rolling Stock" were random filters for the screenshot.

yep... Trackage on my Tidewater is completely bonkers...

Are there other examples of problems (other than east of Trigger 828384)?

Fwiw, that issu also appears in older versions as soon as you edit the track. There is an extra vertex across the road, so it looks like corruption has been there for ages, but now shows up on load.

This from a newly installed TideWater Point Rail <kuid2:506034:100974:3> direct from the Store and in Build 114400. (I have seen no similar problems in other Routes.)

SESSION = CONTAINER DELIVERY - These are right in or just at ends of the yard where starting consist is located. First one is just in front of train and immediately stops session from first move. One is at rear of the train at end of yard. The 3rd is just in front of the passing train (start of session) and it's location is just to the rear of owned train. The fourth is road crossing in front of owned train. All just right there close to starting post of owned consist.

Category 'Train Vehicle' is a combination of the categories 'Locomotive', 'Rolling Stock' and 'Train Tender'. Using it is much easier than combining the categories yourself.

Peter

As I said a few days ago, "Locomotives" and "Rolling Stock" are random filters for the screenshot.

The following assets are faulty in this version, but are fine in 111951

BUG with the Content Search Filter:

Open the content search filter using CTRL+SHIFT+F

Click the + and change the filter to a date such as Date Modified.

Open up a calendar to change the day.

Close the content search filter and the calendar remains on the screen.

I was able to repro this multiple times.
