Invisible .tga files?

I modified a .tga file in "gimp" and when I added it back to the asset it became invisible! I can see a rough outline of it, but the file itself seems to be missing something. I did turn off compression on Gimp.

help please?

Yeah gimp sometimes exports strange
What i do here is, open it in irfanview and do File>Save(original folder) and overwrite it, then its ok again

Gimp might have added an alpha channel, saving in irfanview deletes it.

Still not working. I have tried numerous converters. Just so i can work on it in photo-shoppe which for some stupid reason doesn't read .tga I switched it to a BMP and a JPEG, with no luck.
I may try RAW next to see if that works.
