How to make Trainz

how would I make my own Trainz content
I have heard of Trainz reskins, so how would I make one of those
what would I need

sorry if this is bothering you

If you are looking to reskin, here's some things to keep in mind:

1. It takes loads of time to get good (I'm still working on patchouts!)
2. It requires loads of patience
3. You need a program such as Paint.net or Photoshop (You can use MS Paint, but I wouldn't reccomend it).
4. Do not hesitate to ask for help, we here are willing to help you out for whatever issue you have.
5. Basic knowledge of CM and how to commit/open assets for editing is required.
6. You may come across errors with your asset. Just ask us and we'll help.

Hope this helps you out :)

I use Photoshop. I have seen others use Gimp (which I believe is free). You basically just recolor the textures used in the model. I recommend cloning or backing up the original. You can do as many of these as you want for personal use. To upload to the download station you have to get permission from the original artist. Good luck.

That will be a tall order, I would try something simple for your first project, like a boxcar or a flatbed
