What happened to ProjectWestern?

Hello all.

I tried to download the ProjectWestern Northern Pacific F7A's (I wanted to upload a YT video with them) from their site, and when I pressed "Download" I got this error from Firefox:

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at (IP Address)

It does not work on Edge either, something seems off. Anyone know what happened?
Thank you!

Weird, it worked for me a while ago. Maybe we could contact the devs there and have them help us out?

It is weird to put IPs into the mediafire links but once all the rubbish on the left from the 2nd (or 4th respectively) slash is replaced by "http://www.mediafire.com/file", links start to work again ;-)

That worked, thank you!

This sounds as if there's something wrong with a DNS server somewhere. The IP address will find the website directly, but a direct name-search using the http://, or www naming will not.

Logging directly into Mediafire, since I have an account, shows that this isn't an issue with Mediafire and something to do with the user's website.

Not really, I tried to replace IPs in the links with appropriate DNS names with no success. It rather seems that mediafire moved internally the files on other servers.

That can also cause a DNS issue if the DNS servers haven't cached the new location. I remember having that problem when I moved an MS Exchange server to another service. It took a day or so for the server to be found directly in the outside world, but we could get there by pointing directly to it via the IP address. After a day or so, things settled down and everything was back to normal.
