dynamic layer visibility in a session?

Is there a Driver command that can turn layer visibility on / off? In a session, I would like certain layers to be visible only at specific times.

Can this also be controlled by a trigger? Then when a train passes this trigger, a specific layer could be turned on / off.

Ah, wonder why I never noticed the built-in Show/hide Layer. So I added it in the Session but haven't figured out how it is supposed to be used. Editing it only shows on line, Hide / show and a place to enter a single layer name that doesn't show a pick list, have to know the exact spelling of the layer. It doesn't appear in the Driver command list

Then I had a look at your Set Driver Condition rule. The description page of black text on a dark back ground is a bit hard to read. Then in Driver clicking on the small icon clearly displayed the many options including the ability to select the layers from a list to turn them on / off as needed. Exactly what I need. Thank you.

Very nice video. So that is how to use the built-in show/hide. Lot's of other interesting info about layers.

You can also use my driver command: <kuid:160293:101080> Layer Control, on the DLS.
