Help

Follow the links to register, if you have a DVD disc with a code printed on the box:

https://www.auran.com/planetauran/portal.php

https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN_Enter_Serialnumber.php

It also depends on where you got your version of Trainz. If you bought it second-hand in a street market or on the internet in auction pages, the most normal thing is that the first owner of the game has already registered it for a long time and you cannot register it.
You will have to buy a new version from a legal and original site like Steam or N3V-Auran.

i originally got trainz 2009 when i heard when there was a giveaway on the website
back then i only watched trainz through youtube scince my family had some financial truobles back then

Contact the help desk and tell them your 2009 is not showing in your time line, presumably you entered the 2009 serial number here https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN_Enter_Serialnumber.php in which case it will be listed so the shouldn't be a problem for N3V to sort it out

Help desk is a bit confusing so I've short cut the route you need to take, you will need to log in at some point though. https://support.trainzportal.com/index.php?/Troubleshooter/Step/View/1 click other then Submit a Support Ticket, give it a meaninful title such as TRS2009 missing from my timeline, then state the same in the report, if you have a serial number probably worth sticking that in as well as it's some time since that offer was available.

To the others expressing doubt, the 2009 giveaway has frequently been missed from the time line, happened to an acquaintance of mine a while back, easily sorted by the help desk.

You should receive a reply from the helpdesk and a notification should show up in your email. You can also log back into the helpdesk and view your tickets. (My tickets I think going from memory).

Lol, Look at your time line which is now showing 2009, job done, you are now legal! ;o)

And welcome to Trainz, by the way there is a sale on at present TANE is only $6.99 US, TRS19, $19.99 US full edition $9.99 one of the regional ones.

May be worth buying say TANE now even if you haven't got the hardware to support it yet.

Thank You!
