Forum posts not displaying a banner

Hi Guys - I had occasion to click my signature to access the PLL web site but it has suddenly gone missing. Neither is any signature of the other posts by other members displaying. Can anyone help me get the signature to display again?

Thanks - Trev

Trev, your signature link is working fine here. As Paul says in post #2 perhaps you turned "display signatures" option off? The fact that you see no sigs at all indicates it's that forum setting and nothing wrong with your particular sig. See "Thread Display Options" in General settings. It allows you to turn forum sigs on or off.

Hmm I'm not seeing it in Firefox or Edge, maybe it's browser or AV paranoia blocking it for some reason.

OK.. I see it in Safari and Firefox on Mac but not Edge on my windows machine or Chrome on Mac or Windows. I suspect security settings of the browsers maybe?

Thanks for all the replies, guys. In "Thread Display Options" all three boxes are checked. I fired up Firefox and can see my signature there and in Chrome browser this morning the other members posts are displaying signatures but my sig is still missing. I can live without it so will leave it or perhaps try to create a new signature when I get around to it.

Thanks again - Trev

Trev, I've looked at the coding for this thread, think problem is the the link to your signature on the PLL site is using http not https,

Code:
<blockquote class="signature restore"><div class="signaturecontainer"><a href="http://www.potteriesloopline.co.uk" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.potteriesloopline.co.uk/images/forum_sig_1.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a></div></blockquote>

If your browsers are set for https only try turning it off? Worked here in Firefox, Think the PLL site needs updating to https. The site is being blocked here as not using https however you can override it when it's a site, not if its an embedded link though.

If you go to the PLL site, in Firefox and click the padlock you can turn off https only for the PLL site.

Thanks, Malc. My new new confederate, Christopher824 of CDETrainz.com has kindly hosted my signature on his web site so the problem is now solved.

Best Regards - Trev
