Adding to traffic on roads

Hi,,,,, I am using a road with traffic on it and I would like to add a lorry or two or a couple of buses too, is there a tutorial of how to do this please as it would just make the route a bit more authentic please.Len

The Wiki page on Regions has some info on adding cars to a route - see https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/How_to_Create_a_Region_Asset If the added cars are part of a region then you may have to edit the Region asset or create a new one.

You can also add cars directly to a route in its config.txt fle - details are at https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/HowTo/Add_Carz_Traffic_to_a_Route but the screenshots used in that page are for earlier versions of Trainz and do not apply to T:ANE and TRS19.

In both cases you are limited to 15 different types of road vehicles being visible at the same time. If the route or region you are using has already reached that number then you will need to substitute existing cars for your new ones. I know that some users have claimed that you can have up to 100 or more different types of road vehicles in a region or route but no-one has yet shown me that more than 15 will be visible at any one time.

You should note that the carrate tag is now obsolete - this tag was used to control the rate at which cars will appear in a route (e.g. cars per minute). Also note that not all roads are set to carry car traffic.
