It's here! The latest service pack update for TRS19 has been released.
Build numbers are:
111951 for PC
111952 for Steam PC (no Mac patch)
111956 for Mac (Big Sur required)
You can
read all about it here.
Thanks to all those committed beta testers who helped us track down some truly puzzling repro steps for various bugs. While we haven't fixed everything, we've made a big leap forward in resolving various crashes, freezes and downright annoying bugs.
And as a teaser for what's coming down the track (pun intended), the team have already been working for several months on the next major Trainz Plus feature which is one for all our route builders.
We'll be making some detailed announcements in the coming weeks about the path to "Surveyor 2.0" but for now, we'll just let you know that Surveyor is getting a total makeover and you're going to be excited to see the improvements!
My opinion on that text in red.-----
Not for me if it means having to pay to be a Beta tester, as in taking out a subscription to Plus.
You need to review your Beta-testing policy, why should I pay to be a beta tester?
Maybe if the beta tests were free (as they used to be) then more members would participate to find faults.
At the moment I suspect that the errors found in this SP release are because of the lack of beta testers.
Plus membership may be good for your cashflow but it's not good for members when a SP delivers faults, it creates frustration and probably makes you lose valued members, as in John Citron, there's only so much we can take.

I have SP3 111951 on a fresh install on a seperate SSD that is working very well, except for one or two niggles.
This is not my main install, but an evaluation install.
I have just tried to update my main install, having backed-up before trying.
I opened the program and went through the series of events in the image below...
The same result after selecting the beta stream.
So, I'll just carry on working in my 106618 basic build and try again 'soon'.
I could run a fresh install and point it to my current Data folder, but I should not have to do that.
