Snowdon Mountain Railway

Hello all. Don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'm going to anyways.

The other night I was reading my son the story "Bad Lookout" from Rev. W Awdry's books. The story is based on the Snowdon Mountain Railway in Wales.

Way back in 2006 I believe there were TTTE models made of the locos and a buddy of mine actually made excellent rack and pinion track for a Thomas project.

My question is this: Have there ever been any locos/rolling stock for the SMR and if not does anyone have diagrams for the Locomotives or Coaches?

I think that this would be a real missed opportunity to not investigate whether or not it could be potentially viable.

Apart from one that was removed from the DLS as an unauthorised reskin of one from SI3d, SI3d did have the Thomas versions, drawings, extremely hard to come by I believe although as there are kits available for models I would guess they do exist somewhere!.

Thank you Malc. Aside from my GER locomotives I have been working on for Annie these days the SMR is a particular interest of mine. I remember those ghastly reskins and I tried to spruce them up the best I could but to no avail. I want to get a feel for actual prototypes and not just work off of the TTTE designs made almost two decades ago.

I will give these links a try and see what I can find. With any luck there is something to be found that I can work with. I can't thank you enough for your contribution.
