    Default Opening files with Gimp

I recently tried to open the asset "Building Freight House" with Gimp so I could apply a name. The asset failed to open: unknown file type was the message. The file type is im. I tried some other assets which I have previously opened with Gimp but got the same message: unknown file type which again was the im file. Any suggestions as to what is going on? I have the most recent version of Gimp.
    Thanks for any help.

Google or DuckDuckGo: .im file extension

Google site search on this forum gives lots of results. Enter entire line below exactly as shown.
    im file site:https://forums.auran.com/trainz/

I'm sure someone will give specifics to do what you want.

The IM files are meshes, not images. Gimp only open image files

Look for the image files then use GIMP on the image file. What is the kuid number of the asset?

    Thanks John

You want arlee.tga but it might not be mapped as you would like it. Clone it first then edit the clone.
