TRS19 Beta 111341 (PC) 11347 (Steam PC) and 111343 (Mac)

I was about to post that I wasn't having any problems with the session I've been working on for the Cornish Mainline route by Robert3a0, but then this afternoon I did. Nothing is missing, but a couple of engines are now not where I put them and a passenger train is further up the line from where it should be.

This can happen when using the UDS to switch between Driver and Surveyor and back again if you save the Session as well as the Route before jumping back into Driver. Any consists that are in motion in the Session will be saved in their new positions.

When using the UDS to edit a "live" route and session, I always make sure that Do not save session is selected when I save the route changes.

There's a possible clue to what may have caused the issues mentioned by RJArtrim and neilsmith749 above from Tony_Hilliam's original post in this thread:

If you had consists appearing on spline curves on (or super-elevation applied to) recently-laid or adjusted track that used the now-abandoned "new" spline changes, then these would likely 'disappear', become derailed, or appear distorted.
That can occur under normal circumstances if you have consists sitting on track in a session where you exit and save and then go into Surveyor Edit mode of the session's underlying Route to make adjustment to the track nearby, or underneath, the location where the consist was placed in the session.

Interesting - I have noticed some track that wasn't exactly where I laid it - this could be due to the return to the legacy system, as mentioned above. Thanks for the info!

Ah, that explains it, - thank you. As it happens it wasn't too much of a mess to fix and I only had to move the engines and passenger train back to where they should be.

Another problem with central Europe 0,99 :

i wanted to use the multiplayer session . While in surveyer, i had placed a few trackmars in Czechowice-Dziedzice.

then i was adding a few rules and named the platforms in Czechowice-Dziedzice. Then saved everything. When restaring, most of the rolling stock stationed in Czechowice-Dziedzice disappeared.

After that, i did it the other way around : Opened and saved session and route with a new name. When editing the "new" route, same thing : rolling stock in Czechowice-Dziedzice disappeared.

My uploads, 37 of them, are showing up in CM since build 110491 are showing as third party in the CM status column and upload date is blank, even though the assets have been uploaded and show available on the DLS white pages.

derhildner - since you were editing the session, and saved, then the rolling stock will be in the session not the route. To get the rolling stock in the route, you'd need to change to the route layer. You can also edit your session and merge that to the route layer.

johnnyC1 - this occurs when items are placed on the repair list. We're currently investigating why these items are on that list as they don't show as faulty in the latest build.

@Tony_Hilliam several of us Mac users are unable to download the new patch. Why is this the case? I can’t test the new patch if I can’t download it.

This! There's also some confusion as to which build number is meant for us Mac users: 111343 (in the thread title) or 111345 (in the OP).
Meanwhile, all my Payware assets show up invariably in 110923 as "version mismatch" in Content Store even after updates.

Checked a couple and can't see anything wrong with them here, can be downloaded in Manage Content if you search on the kuid which I did, no errors or warnings and they work.

After downloading showing as Location Unknown which as Tony says means they are probably on the repair list but now show an upload date of the 17th of May 2020.

Yes they are on the Repair list, being the CRG co-ordinator I've just had a look, also says on clicking to see what's supposedly wrong No Asset Errors! There are actually 72 of your PBR Ground textures that have appeared on the list none of which appear to be faulty.

I am getting this error on start up of a session.

Cap - are you on the Steam platform, like me? On closer reading, only the PC version is available on Steam; not sure if Tony added the information more recently, but there's clearly no future for Trainz Mac on Steam it appears.

No, I've never been on Steam. I buy directly. Not bad idea. I tried changing update streams, and logging in and out. Not working for some reason. Just says no update available.

peterwhite - that is a very common assertion dialog that will pop up each time you run a session or open up a route for editing and is generally nothing to worry about.
Simply click on the 'Continue' button and ignore...
These assertion dialogs will disappear once the beta transitions to the release version.
Occasionally, however, these Trainz Debug Helper notices identify specific issues with your route or session that - coupled with your detailed explanation of what was happening on the UI at the time in a Bug Report to N3V, will help the QA team to address code issues or suggest ways to fix problems with your session. https://n3vgames.typeform.com/to/xRdryu

Hi Guys and Gals,

It's been over 6 mths since my main computer crashed and left me without a Win 10 Pro PC.

I'm in the process of reinstalling TRS 19 for Trainz+ privileges on a new minipc Asus PN50 so that I can update TARDIS.
I'd also like to lurk on TNI forum with whatever version is required.

Somehow I'm on TRS 19 version 110771 (whatever that is) without an update path and also doesn't show stream change capability. It would appear I've used a wrong update on-line installer. Otherwise this version is quite stable.

Before I bother the busy helpdesk, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hello Ian. I hope everything is going well for you.

You are a version behind and your best bet is to download the latest stable SP2 and work up from there.

Go to your My Trainz account and choose Download TRS19.

Pick the version you have, i.e. TRS19 or TRS19-Plus, depending upon which one you have.

The current version available is 110491 and with that you can then update to the latest beta and use a new data folder for testing rather than touch your existing one.

Hi Tony and John,

I've been a bit rusty since coming out of hibernation.

I found my way to 111341 by some tortuous means and many updates, along the lines suggested by John. Is that where I should be?

Could do with a visual map like that used on London Underground. You know, "From Heathrow Terminal 5 take the Piccadilly Line to Earls Court; Change to Circle Line and pop up to Paddington to pick up a parcel. then proceed from Kings Cross on ECML to Edinburgh. You must wear a mask at all times. You'll be required to show your vaccination certificate with a valid Covid 19 negative test at the Scottish border. Take a bus to Loch Lomond wearing scuba gear and get your ticket clipped by Nessie prior to sailing down the Caledonian Canal to Europe."

Umh. I think my knowledge of British Rail is a bit rusty as well.
