Hello.
After contacting Google, several of these books (which were once not available to download) are now publicly available:

Books for train cars and parts:

1895:
https://www.google.com/books/editio...ia_of_American_Prac/0UJttWHSwNYC?hl=en&gbpv=0
1909:
https://www.google.com/books/editio...ia_of_American_Prac/w8pAAQAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0
1919:
https://books.google.com/books?id=q...printsec=frontcover&hl=en#v=onepage&q&f=false
1946:
https://books.google.com/books?id=6...printsec=frontcover&hl=en#v=onepage&q&f=false

Books for locomotives and some cars, and their parts:

1916 (Mostly Steam):
https://www.google.com/books/editio..._of_American_Practi/O8Y1AQAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0
1922 (Mostly Steam):
https://www.google.com/books/editio..._of_American_Practi/oMY1AQAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0
1936 (Mostly Steam):
https://books.google.com/books?id=5...printsec=frontcover&hl=en#v=onepage&q&f=false
1950 (Steam, Diesel Electric, Electric, and Turbine):
https://www.google.com/books/editio..._of_American_Practi/KDpMAAAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0
1956 (Steam, Diesel, Electric, Electric, and Turbine):
https://www.google.com/books/editio..._of_American_Practi/-2gPAAAAIAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0

They each contain over a thousand diagrams, blueprints, and images of steam, diesel/diesel electric, electric locomotives, and train cars, and dedicated sections with drawings for all their individual components.

While the books are mostly Parts and components (e.g. cab, valve gears, engines, wheels, firebox, chassis, brakes, shafts, gears, injectors, pumps etc.) I found several versions of drawings of literally every Whyte notation steam locomotive from different railroads. (I found steam, turbine, diesel, and diesel-electric). I haven't looked through most of the diesels, but I counted about 100+ diesels and diesel-electric drawings for various freight, switcher, and passenger locos in just one book.

If I get access to more, I will post them here.

Hope this is helpful.
