Crossing over a track

hi,,,,, I have a track that crosses over another track, how do I stop two trains crashing at the intersection as I have put a signal there but it does not seem to work please?.
as an aside, it would be handy if I could be able to let only certain trains on a certain track if that is possible.

Hi Len,

Take a look at Boat's ASB controller and it's related parts. This will do what you want.

I use ASB Crossing Controller Tane SP3/TRS19 together together with ASB Crossover Triggers Tane SP3/TRS19. Quite easy to set up and instructions are included with the controller but it doesn't work with all signals although had little trouble finding suitable alternatives. An alternative method is the Trigger MultiSignal Rule which likewise doesn't work with all signal and I thought was more messy to set up particularly with high speed trains. Peter
