Hello everyone,

I'm trying to understand scripting of Trainz and I made a huge progress but one thing is still bugging me - 'inherited()'. I understood that its calling something (a parent object or function?). But what parent, what function? Situation gets even more confusing when there is something inside of bracket like 'inherited(soup)'.

Could somebody give me a really detail explanation what is it and why I should used it and when?

Thank you for your reply.

PS I'm not sure If I posted it to right thread.

There is a Scenario Scripting and Scriplets thread but you can only post there if you have registered your Trainz purchase.
