Thomas the Tank Engine Missing Deps

Hi,

I download Thomas the Tank Engine from www.sodorworkshops.com and I seem to be having trouble finding the missing dependencies that have "unknown asset" in the content manager.

Here are the list that I'm looking for:

<kuid:549208:100455>
<kuid:549208:100459>
<kuid:414976:100973>
<kuid:499636:101922>
<kuid:525236:100883>
<kuid:549208:100458>
<kuid2:217537:260:3>

If anyone knows where these are, let me know where to search for them.
 
Wish I could help, but all I can wish you is best of luck. I could never find missings for Thomas assets. You might ask them on their site.
 
I did a Google search for some of those listed kuids and got a link to a Romanian Trainz forum where, after translating the posts, I discovered that they did not have the missing assets either but forum members there were also asking the same questions - where are they?

I seem to recall some discussions here years ago about the original Sodor Island web site and its Thomas assets. There were copyright issues, accusations of pirating, and the entire site being taken down. The current Sodor Workshop site was somehow involved in these shenanigans as well. The result has been that most Trainz users have given up on using Thomas and Friends.

That is the joy of downloading assets from 3rd party web sites - you spend forever trying to locate missing assets.
 
KUID Finder https://www.trainzkuidindex.com/ is your best bet, - and yes it is a payware site, but it's well worth it when it comes to finding missing dependencies.

Sometimes if you're lucky you can substitute something else for a missing dependency, but in general the whole TtTE area of Trainz is a train wreck when it comes to finding missing dependencies as pware has said and your chances of finding anything are slim.

Hello there,

All of those assets are in the "TTTE - Thomas Deps.cdp" cdp located in the Thomas Google Drive folder. Please re-install the cdp or re-download it from our website. I am still working with the other creators on our site to get these dependencies on the DLS.

Pware,

I'm not sure which incident you are referring to, but Sodor Workshops has not been involved in any events regarding other Thomas & Friends Trainz websites due to copyright, piracy, etc. We have always been independent of the Thomas Trainz websites that are no longer available.

Try downloading NWR Thomas in TANE. TS19 does not have access to all the assets available in TANE and sometimes they will work in TANE but not in TS19..

The other thing to do is download all the assets often a dependency will be in one but not the other.

Okay, I manage to figure out the problem. It was the TTTE - Thomas Deps that I had to download from Google Drive and it worked. Now there are three more kuids I need to install and those are:

<kuid:549208:100458>

Which version of TS19 do you have? Have you tried the TS12 versions in TANE?

Hello, those assets are still inside the TTTE - Thomas Deps.cdp from the Google Drive. I downloaded this file just this morning and it is indeed in there.
