Error when launching TANE

I purchased TANE from the Mac App Store last year and it was working fine. I had to uninstall it until I could free some more space on my MacBook Pro. I reinstalled it a few days ago and I get an error message whenever I try to launch it.

I don’t understand any of this. Could someone please help?

Well I understand none of that, but the first obvious thing is to run a database repair from the launcher and see if that sorts it. So on the start screen the third and final option is "Developer". Click on that and select to "Rebuild database", second option.

Your OS is saying it doesn't like the code signature.

I'd uninstall and try again

I get the error message instead of the launcher.

I don't have any other ideas from our end. It was working for you previously, it is working on our systems, so there is a problem with the download, the permissions, the hardware, the OS, or some combination of those.

Next step is Apple support. They can confirm that you are using the correct Apple store log in, OS etc.

You're telling me you don't even get the small start screen, the very first one when you click on the desktop icon? Begs the question, what are your pc specs?

I’m using a Mac to run it.

Sorry for your trouble.

You're running the Mac version which you bought from the Mac App Store. You should probably address this with them since no one else is reporting the issue. They'd be best qualified to help you.

Good luck,

:B~(

Are you sure it installed completely and without error? (read on)

You say you installed it some time ago due to disk space.
- How much disk space did you have before this latest install?
- How much disk space do you have after install?
- Right click on your Tane app and "get info" then report the size reported.

Did you delete, check disk space, and try to install a 2nd time? (Also delete the user data folder.)

There may be a problem with support. TANE is running off of macOS High Sierra, so there may be some support/compatibility issues. If possible, at least upgrade to Mojave - personally, I'm running Big Sur, but Mojave still runs fine.

Hope this helps.

Storage before install was 234.70 GB

Storage after install is 225.62 GB.

App size is 9.08 GB

How do I locate user data folder?
