Trainz Plus - enjoy Trainz from just 20 cents a da
Another week, another update with several more fixes. Trainz Plus users can patch using the Trainz Plus Beta patch stream.

We're getting close to an official release so please ensure you report any remaining bugs!

Changes include fixes for:
  • Headlights do not render upon returning to loco
  • Repeated undo/redo of spline vertex insertion quickly corrupts track
  • Driver script error when loading specific save game -"DriverCharacter.CreateSchedule> null driverTrain (file gs.gs)
  • Session layer selected without notifying user of layer change
  • Session layer selected without notifying user of layer change

Thanks for the bug fix regarding the headlights. I'm happy now:D

Will test more when time permits me to

Cheers

I seem to keep receiving this issue when loading one of my DLC beta routes.

Hi John,

Not here - Actually I cannot see anything different from earlier builds with menus, icons, images, layouts ...........
Except for the weird-looking MP route icons - with which I have abandoned them all!

Hi Laurie,

I lost all my icons including my installed routes. Some eventually came back, but others just disappeared. I did a reboot and rebuild but that didn't help. I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens. :)

Edit: The Installed Routes menu shows all the icons normally. My Content does not and only shows the grey-blocks.

Bridges disconnected on existing routes. This did not occur in the previous beta on the same route, or in previous versions of TRS2019 or Plus.

This is the YARN Bridge02 L2 DL2 -Si +Sh, <kuid2:124017:26037:3>, and is built-in.

Note the invisible road appears to be the culprit.

Got this one while running Delete Missing assets. This needs to be run on all routes in order to edit track even after the route has been saved, otherwise, track and track objects can be separated, meaning track objects remain in position when the track is moved. Running this utility solves the problem. In this instance, however, this error occurred at the same time. The good news is it hasn't reappeared. This was in Surveyor, by the way, and not during Session editing.

Route menu issues.

If we choose My Content and edit the route only, the menu will return to My Content selection. If we choose to edit the session (not in UDS), the route menu displays all the installed routes when exiting from the session. In previous version the menu would instead remain on the route that is associated with that session.

The search field changes back to Installed Routes instead of My Content, sometimes. Other times only the route associated with the session shows, however, the filter remains on Installed Routes.

I was able to repro this behavior multiple times.

EIT and fx_loco.gse script errors. These are fine in previous versions. Errored in this version.

I see that the dangling spines have been fixed, all objects are now deleted when a base board is deleted.
