Inserting "notes"

I've never tried this before and I would really like to insert notes on my layout.

I've tried all sorts of words in the search on the DLS and found nothing obvious.

I want a really simple method so that I can put little notes on the layouts.

It may not exist in truth but it would be a nice little thing to have.

Many thans from Graham

Hi Graham.

<kuid:243828:1948> C+ SO Note (Scenery) Green Nameable
<kuid:243828:1942> C+ SO Note (Scenery) Orange Nameable
<kuid:243828:1943> C+ SO Note (Scenery) Red Nameable
<kuid:243828:1945> C+ SO Note (Scenery) White Nameable
<kuid:243828:1949> C+ SO Note (Scenery) Yellow Nameable
<kuid:243828:1955> C+ SO Note (ScMulti) Blue Nameable
<kuid:243828:1956> C+ SO Note (ScMulti) Gold Nameable
<kuid:243828:1960> C+ SO Note (ScMulti) Orange Nameable
<kuid:243828:1959> C+ SO Note (ScMulti) Red Nameable
<kuid:243828:1939> C+ SO Note (Track) Black Nameable
<kuid:243828:1936> C+ SO Note (Track) Blue Nameable
<kuid:243828:1935> C+ SO Note (Track) Green Nameable

You simple place them wherever you wish, click on the ? and then the asset, and then type what you want.

Martinvk made some push pins which do a similar job.

<kuid2:70337:23007:15> Push pin black
<kuid2:70337:23008:15> Push pin green
<kuid2:70337:23009:15> Push pin red
<kuid2:70337:23006:15> Push pin yellow

Hope this helps.

There are also a complementary set of map flags that I often use to leave notes to myself in a route under construction
kuid2:70337:23005:15 Map flag black
kuid2:70337:23010:15 Map flag blue
kuid2:70337:23011:15 Map flag green
kuid2:70337:23012:15 Map flag red
kuid2:70337:23013:15 Map flag yellow

The advantage of both the push pins and map flags is that they are way oversized so they are obviously not normal scenery objects meant to stay in the route.

Many thanks for your help, I do use the push pins extensively when planning routes.

I now want to have a blank "push pin" or similar of my own so I can type a bit of textual information of my own.

Perhaps it doesn't exist.

Thank you friends

Graham

Also <kuid2:661281:96069:1> Surveyor Only Object Indicator (Red 1m Cube)

This is invisible in Driver (except for the label - see below)

To add a label that is visible in Driver, use properties to edit the description (and turn on Named Objects in map view).

Airportx 706 - RED Instruction sign, 12 lines scripted - ish6 <KUID:58223:31794>

Instruction sign, 12 lines scripted - Willem2 <KUID2:97008:29100:1>

You can type in short 12 lines of text, edit, and save it twice, and the type shows up

You type like this, and then type like this, etc, etc, (each word separated by no space, comma's) then each line shows up separately under one another.

C+ SO Note (Track) White Nameable - itareus <KUID:243828:1938> Shows up the best color
I use it everyday to update, the date, and time, that I edit my route, and place only 2 of them at 1 single solitary, specific, favorite location on my route, findable by typing, Find 2020 ie:
1) 2020 Sept 29
2) Very Tired 4:22 AM
