How do you move titanium by Rail

bees?
So I recently went on a rail bike tour of D&H's spur to tahawus. I want to model some of those scenes, but i don't know what type of car was used, so here's the problem if you google "titanium railcar" tank cars come up but if also google "d&h tahawus mine" hoppers come up, So which is it?

Good point but... (note I am not trying to sound like a jerk)

Titanium ore, ilmenite, may be transported from the mine in open-top hoppers to the processing plant; Titanium dioxide is usually transported in covered hoppers as it is a powder. Also Titanium dioxide can be liquid and transported in tank cars.

No offense at all. Learned something new here.

We could have looked here:

The titanium mine operations ceased in 1989. Tahawus is about a 5 or 6 hour drive west of me in Upper New York state a bit north west of Ticonderoga, NY.

Update:

The line is not abandoned, but might be heading that way. Essex County is trying to save the line from the scrapper.

Let's hope they do. The article said the line could be used to carry out the tailings which are used for pavement and other uses, and the line could remove a lot of trucks from the roads.

Let's keep our fingers crossed on this.
