Coal Country 2019 Updated .....

My favorite part of getting an area the way I want it to look overall, is to begin "super" detailing it:

Below: Added garbage cotainers to the cart, added med pack to the Quad, added road sign and "derelict" items to side of building:

Next up on the detailing list, adding some fuel pumps. 1st for the DOT maitenance yard. Added cover pumps, saftey marker, yellow pipe bollards and no smoking signs and also added a fuel pump for the Fuel Depots yard tractor area:

Besides adding new industries to the route I wanted from the beginning to have a freight yard at the opposite end the route from Richmond at Parker. I finally got around to adding one across from the Parker Tipple that can hold 63 hoppers. It can be used for unit coal trains or unit grain trains serving the mega grain elevator nearby or for mixed freight if needed.

I figured this was a great location and in my over active mind, CSX agreed to build a yard and share rights with the RP&P for use of the land.

Next up adding a small loco service fueling area......

Evening Sir,

Ever heard the saying, "NO GRASS GROWS ON A BUSY STREET" in your case a Railroad.

Your latest editions (Pics) look terrific.............You are the master of using small areas with a ton of details...........Well done...........

And the way you curve your Track work into some of operating Spurs just kicks up the eye candy............:p

If I didn't know better, looks like someone is having a Cold Frosty one.......:hehe:

Thank you for the compliment, I try to detail as best I can....and that "Cold Frosty" one is "Near Beer" ....

I thought it would be fitting to have a propane facility on the route so I decided the real estate next to the fuel depot would be a pretty good choice, work in progress:

Wasn't to happy with the difference in color of the propane tanks in the back and front so I decided to make the rear larger propane tanks uniform in color with the smaller ones. I like the effect more this way:

More updates, finishing up the plastic pellet facility, now named Curbell Plastics and if you look closely in some of the pix I have begun adding TRC crossings, with the new tax reveneue from added industries and residents moving into town the CSX in conjunction with the RP&P have begun a maintenance upgrade to active crossing signals. This includes Richmond, Peabody, and Parker.....

And where might Curbell Plastics get their pellets from ?..........why no other place then General Plastics...nestled next to Corn Product Int. I reskinned the JR Plastics model and added a Dave Snow sign:

The town of Peabody gets a new propane dealership. Managed to squeeze in Northern Propane between Souther Pine Lumber and the CAT facility by extending the siding for Southern Pine:
