Now for the time being, the industry side of things is completed. I am now focusing my attention to the urban city areas. I am just expanding the city of Richmond. Added more residential and commercial buildings along with another road. I will begin adding the details next:

I wasn't satisfied where I had located the CSX Ballast facility at the far end of Richmond Yard so I slid it down close to the loco shed and made 2 loading areas for 2 different types of ballast. I think it came out better this way. I replaced the facility where it was originally located with an NE propane distributor serving the Richmond area as well as the previous made for Peabody. Now the propane depot can service 2 distributors and any lumber yards that sell propane as well:

I had to read this twice to take it in for digesting.........My brain sometimes takes a bit longer to soak in all the information......:hehe:

Final analysis: There is great Artist at work here, who one, takes an idea, makes it work.........

Comes back, reworks it, and now it comes thru as even more fluid in design, with lots of Action here...........

And I like the nice division of Trackage in the back area, brings out a lot of definition with the different operations you have going on.

In addition, All your items in this area are spaced perfectly, good balance when you take the long view....It works, and works well...........!

Thanks for the kind words, I try to make everything "flow" toghethor as much as possibe. Sometimes I get it right the 1st time and sometimes it takes a few trys. I like to experiment and see what I can come up with. Good example below. I wanted more than just 3 propane tanks as I had in previous locations. I placed 2 sets of the JR Propane loadout that I had reskinned with Northern Energy logos side by side then overlapped a tank to come up with the configuration you see below. The hill behind the tanks was increased slightly to cover the loading platform that you see by the tankers. The hill hides it pretty good as seen in the last shot. People need to think outside the box and try different combinations to see what can be created instead of just adding a building here or there. Slight variations will add more depth to a route then repeating the same structures over and over as well as doing some basic reskinning. As long as you make copies or backups of the original file you can experiment without any worries....

After adding to the town of Richmond I am updating Peabody with some more buildings, adding more trees to make it less bare and putting in steps for the elevated sidewalk:
