Default Having a problem with track being covered

BETA 108251 - Only started having this problem with recent betas - probably something I am doing wrong.

I am having trouble with the tracks being covered by underlying ground.

Have tried various things including 'level ground to track' tab, lowering ground under track in topology etc, to no satisfactory result.

Any suggestions would be greatly received

Hi Russell, I had the same issue with the release of that Beta Version. To fix, just turn your shader quality down to 'Standard" in the performance settings.

    Thanks Bob.

You’re a champion. That fixed it.

The issue is actually the PBR textures. If you change the scale of the textures, some scale better than others, and increase the radius a bit, the terrain will neither cover the tracks, nor have holes underneath. The alternative is to use non-PBR ballast textures. Turning down the performance settings to standard works well, but then there are other things that are lost doing that.

    Thanks John,

I'll try to remember that if I encounter any further problems.
