Caboose Brakes - Realistic Mode Driving

Is there any modification - say in the config txt file - that can be done to enable the train (parking) brake of a caboose to be released independantly of its train?

I have in mind the scenario that has been descibed in prototype operations where a coal train arrives a tipple, uncouples the caboose, loads coal and then sets off slowly on it's return and the caboose crew then release their brake allowing the caboose to drop down using gravity on to the rear of the train. It does eliminate having to set back up a gradient with a heavy load to pick up the caboose.

Thank you MP242. Very interesting

Of the 2/3 Invisible loco's listed in CM, K 2:404575:100970:1, etc and 69593:2065, which are you using? I assume you are nudging the caboose to the top of the incline to then allow the "free-roll" to take over.
