Assistance Needed Signal problem in TANE

This problem involves TANE SP4, downloaded from the Trainz Store

In the route I am building, I am having trouble signaling a passing siding. These are the common signals from TANE. If the siding is connected, the signal for the turnout is wrong.

But if I disconnect the turnout, the signal now works correctly:

What am I doing incorrectly? The problem is the same even with different track. Is this simply a issue with TANE?
Thanks in advance for the help.

What what signals are you using?

Those single-light signals.... Those should be Type 04, or absolute signals and face back towards the line and not at the diverging signal.

When you are editing in Surveyor, that is how the signals will look. The signal cant see past the switch, that's okay. If you go into Driver, they should work correctly.

John is right about the 04 signals. Here are a couple good ones;

<kuid:-25:859> Signal USA 04 (you will need to download this one from your Content Manager)
<kuid2:87145:23071:1> CNR Dwarf Signal (Built-In)
