Hi all. I was researching on how the CP yard may have looked in that period while building the Transcontenental rr. I have a million questions on it
(0) was the yard laied out with separate areas for goods, rr materials ,
(1) how / were the wagons built? I.e. on the ground like a house and then beam hoisted onto the trucks? What was the internal framing like on the 30, 34ft wagons? built inside, outside?? I have found no source on this at all for this area,
I ask as I have proven to myself I am horrendous now at the new coding for RR locos and wagons, but still OK at scenery and would like to help out this community to bring life to that period. Like most, I can model nicely, but coding, yeah, Not so much.
