Question Selecting a subset of forums to be searched

It looks as thought it ought to be possible to disable forums that are irrelevent to the user. However, I haven't been able to find a way to do it.

For example, I'd like to ignore all of the Branch Line forums and the UTC forum when I'm searching for new posts.

Anybody found a way to do this?

    Don

    Default searching for new posts

I haven't tried it yet but it looks like you could subscribe to the forums you want then just search the subscribed forums.

At the top of these messages is a tool bar 'Thread Tools', 'Search Thread', 'Rate Thread' and 'Display Modes'. Just click on Thread tools and subscribe. On the forum page just click on Forum Tools and subscribe.
