When I use List Asset Versions in the pulldown menu I get another copy of the original requested asset. I use List Asset Versions again and again I get the same response. Only happens on a few assets. Others will off a Download after the first use of List Asset version.

That is correct, it lists all asset versions on download station or installed. Some newer assets may be DLC ones and are not on the DLS.
