Trolley Dodger Blog. Pics and articles on Chicago area transit

Here some links to the Trolley Dodger blog I follow and look forward to receiving. The reason for posting the various links is each of these has something different to show. In these is various photos and short articles, but mostly photos however, of the goings on in and around Chicago area with some pics of other operations elsewhere in the US.

The pictures are absolutely fascinating yet sad at the same time because some show the last days of the Northshore and CA&E operations. These pictures are also a treasure trove of modeling ideas, buildings, street layouts, and other things we run across.

Although US and mostly Chicago-centric, I'm sure we can all find this information helpful with our modeling and routing building as well as our passion for all things on rails.

Pretty neat. One of the older gals in our local creative writers group rode Chicago area interurbans in her younger days, will pass the blog along to her.

She will like these. They are pretty neat. Every time I get my copy in my in-box, I read it "cover to cover". :)

Suffice it to say, I am very familiar, and I have inadvertently appeared in a photo or two snapped at the Illinois Railway Museum a couple of years back.
